Next stop for the Senior Track & Field squad is the National Senior Indoor Championships, to be held in the classy Odyssey Arena in Belfast! Claire Bergin will be competing for a place on the Irish Women's 4 x 400m Team for the European Championships in Turin next month! Deirdre Ryan has already obtained the World Championships "B" standard with her 1.93m in the high jump. Unfortunately she has a slight injury and won't be competing in Belfast. Nick Hogan, Jon Miller and Zita Murphy will be looking for fast times in the 400m, while several of our distance runners, like Hazel Murphy, will be trying out their skills on the oval track, as opposed to the mud of the cross country courses!
