While all eyes were on our senior athletes competing in Berlin, there was also an important event happening for juvenile club members! Siofra Clerigh Buttner had been pretty much unbeatable at home during the year and wisely decided to pit her skills against the best on offer in the UK! She had a magnificent weekend, first coming 4th in her heat in the Junior Girls 1500m in a new pb of 4:41.03, thus being an automatic qualifer for the final. The next day she came out and did it all again, running powerfully, she was just overtaken for 2nd place close to the finish, grabbing an excellent bronze medal in another pb of 4:40.87secs. Well done Siofra! that was a great way to end the season!
