Many thanks to everyone who competed in the 1st round of the National League yesterday in Tullamore! Individual results aren't yet available but the all important team scores are! Remembering that neither DSD team qualified for the finals last year, every effort was made to field a quality team in Tullamore!

We won the men's competition in Tullamore but when the results of both pools were combined, DSD are currently in 3rd place with 111 points, behind Clonliffe (with 121) and City of Derry (with 113). The women came 3rd in Tullamore and lie 6th overall, behind the leaders Ballymena & Antrim (with 124 points). We need to be in the top 8 after round 2, in order to qualify for the finals in August.

The all important round 2 will be held in either Athlone or Santry on Sunday 18th July.
