The All-Ireland Schools Championships were held in beautiful, sunny conditions in Tullamore Harriers Stadium on Saturday 5th June. As usual, the event was superbly organised and ran like clockwork! DSD athletes competed in a wide range of events and had some excellent results. Special mention must go to Siofra Cleirigh-Buttner for her superb, record breaking run in the Junior girls 1,500m. She broke a 25 year old record by a full 14 seconds, front running 4:28.10. Special mention too for coach Liz McDonagh, whose squad did exceptionally well!
