It was a magic weekend for D.S.D. at senior level with David Gillick under 45 secs once again.  David ran 44.95 at Résisprint international La Chaux-de-Fonds, SUI., which puts him on course for the European Championships. 

Meanwhile Joe Sweeney and Brendan O'Neill had major break-throughs at European senior level when they both chopped over 10 secs., off their p.b's at 3,000m at a meeting in Belgium.  Joe finished 5th in 7.57.33 with Brendan a stride behind in 7.57.57, - the race was won by a top Kenyan.
