Well done to all the Masters athletes from DSD who competed in the Irish and the Scottish Masters Indoor Championships over the weekend!

First off was Kevin Byrne who came 3rd in the V1 pentathlon on Saturday. Kevin got an indoor PB in the shot (8.79m) en route to his bronze medal. He was back in action the next day in the individual events, coming first in the LJ in 5.44m and completing his set of medals with a 2nd place in the HJ with 1.60m.

George Wyatt was back in action after an ankle injury and got 3rd in the V2 LJ in 5.14m

New to the track were John Healy and Ian O'Leary - welcome to Nenagh guys!! John ran a very nifty 61.90 sec to win the V4 400m He came back later to grab 2nd place in the 1500m in 4:37.49.

Ian ran 9:29.76 to win the V2 3,000m!

Meanwhile, over in Scotland, Lucy Moore won the W4 shot putt with 9m.

The next Masters Event will be the Southern Vets Championships in London on 14th Feb.
