Lots of results from DSD athletes around the world!

First of all the local results - congratulations to Linda Byrne for winning the National 10km road racing championship, to go along with her National title at cross country. Linda covered the course in 34:50 in beautiful, sunny conditions in the Phoenix Park. She finished in 4th place overall. Well done also to Joe Sweeney, who was 4th in the men's race in 29:51. It is great to see Joe back racing, healthy and well!

A number of DSD athletes were competing in the USA over the weekend. David Gillick won the 100m in Azusa, California in 10.71 secs (+1.4). He came 2nd in the 200m in 21.20 secs (+1.1), which I think is a new pb by about 0.01 !

Over in Alabama, Hazel Murphy won the 5,000m in 16:51.02 in Auburn.

Charlotte ffrench O'Carroll was 3rd in the 1,500m in 4:27.67 at the Mt. Sac relays.

Ava Hutchinson was 23rd in a fast 5,000m in 16:22.76.

Well done everyone! That's not bad going for April!
