Joe Sweeney won the men's race at the 5 Mile Sportsworld Classic in 24.05.52 with Linda Byrne taking the Women's title in 27.29.52.  In the V50 men's section Tony O'Halloran was first with Joan Coyle also first in the women's V.60.

Congratulations also to Claire Bergin who took the gold medal in Castle Island in the women's 400m - unfortunately there was no time available.
