Linda Byrne stormed home to take first place in the Women's Race in the Raheny 5 mile yesterday with a time of 26.31.  Ian O'Leavy took the M.40 section in 26.30, to add to his recent string of wins, both outdoors and indoors.

Susanne Huet finished 2nd in the Boston University Terrier Classic 1000m in 3.08.52, with Ashling Baker 2nd in the Metropolitan Indoor Championships New Haven 1 Mile in 5.02.65.   Deirdre Ryan was 5th in Cottbus Germany High Jump with 1.80.

At the Leinster Indoor Championships in Nenagh Joe Dowling finished 2nd in the 400m and won his heat in the 200m, but did not contest the final.
