 Robert Teevan, beat last years time and position when he ran 2:30:32, finishing in 24th place overall and 6th placed Irishman. What a run from Robert - we'll be expecting him to win it next year. Maria McCambridge, running her debut marathon, completed the course in 2:36:40 to finish as 8th placed overall woman, and first Irishwoman making her Nataional Marathon Champion 2008. Maria's place was good enough for overall 39th place. Terrific runs from our two contestants in the event. John Eves was pacing the leadres for the first 10/15 miles.
