 What a day for DSD and Dublin. In the mens race, DSD's Alan McCormack led the dublin team to victory when he surprised everyone but himself to win the individual race. Alan's victory was all the more impressive when you consider that he beat the defending champion Gary Murray (3rd) and the champion from two years ago, Mark Christie (2nd). Earlier Linda Byrne also led the Dublin team to victory when winning the ladies event with Hazel Murphy (3rd). In the junior womens race, Charlotte and Rebecca ffrench-O'Carroll were 2nd and 3rd behind the winner Sara Treacy, but led the Dublin Team to victory. Dublin also won the mens junior event.Great runs from DSD's John Eves (17th - coming back from injury), Aoife Byrne (5th), Ava Hutchinson (6th), Bryony Treston (16th and 5th U23), Robert Corbally (9th Junior).
