Winter through to June, we work on building base fitness as well as developing more speed and endurance for us all.

Then maintain fitness levels for racing through May-June.

  • Tuesdays (Tempo & Fartlek) (Stretch & Core work after run) 
  • Thursdays (Steady Run) (Stretch & Core work after run) 
  • Saturdays (Speed Work).
  • Sundays (Longer slow run). 
  • This format until end of April. 

From July onwards some of the group will gear their training towards the Dublin Race Series, 10km; 10mile and Half Marathon and more and more of the group are now taking part in the Dublin City Marathon each year.

By the way - Training is ALWAYS ON, if it rains, so what, you’ll enjoy your run even more.
