Dublin County Board’s Graded Meets start up again next Wednesday 16th April in Irishtown at 7pm. Events on 16th include 1500m, 400m, 100m, as well has hammer, shot and long jump. Entries can be taken on the night (€8 for seniors and €5 for Juniors). Full details are available on the Dublin Athletics Board website.

Niamh's Marathon Debut
What a debut marathon for Niamh Devlin! 15th woman (119th overall) in Rotherdam on Sunday. Niamh's time of 2:45:38 was just outside the Beijing Olympics qualifying time of 2:38( A Standard) and 2:42(B Standard). Who'd bet against her qualifying for the London Olympics?

Well done to Blaithin Jones, who finished 2nd in the National Junior High Jump Indoors in Nenagh on Sunday. with a jump of 1.60m.

Well done to Niamh Devlin who finished 3rd in the Woking Half Marathon, in England on Sunday. It was won by Liz Yelling, with J. Bushe 2nd and Niamh 3rd in 77 mins.

Nick Hogan selected for Celtic Int Print E-mail

Congratulations to Nick Hogan on his selection for the 400m and 4 x 400m in this weekend's Celtic International in Cardiff. This follows on Nick's excellent performances in the Odyssey at the National Senior Championships last Sunday - see details in separate report.
