Cross Country League 1 Ballyboughal, North Co. Dublin Sunday, 26th September, 2021



The first of the three Cross Country Leagues will take place at Ballyboughal, North Co. Dublin this Sunday, 26th September, 2021 The Leagues are open to all registered members from U9 upwards and are a great introduction to a competition event in a relaxed fun setting. You don’t need to pre-register for the League, just turn up, look out for the DSD Flag and register with a DSD Official to receive your race number.


· 1st race at 11am (note times are approximate)

· Register and get your number at the DSD flag

· Please be there at least an hour before you race to allow registration and warm up

· Club Singlet must be worn (Please let us know if you DO NOT have a singlet)

· Be prepared for all types of weather

· Bring food and drink as delays can happen

Volunteers/Officials


Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events. In order to ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required and your co-operation will be much appreciated. Please let us know if you are available



ADDITIONAL INFORMATION from Lusk AC who are hosting the event


PARKING


Please note there will be a €2 charge for parking a car at the cross country course on Sunday.


There is no parking outside the site, you will be ushered in and directed to a parking location.


Please have €2 in change ready to drop in the bucket inside the field (no change given). This fee will go towards the payment for the use of the private field.


The field is stubble from a recent grain harvest, so wear appropriate footwear (it is not Grass).

Please follow the directions of the volunteers guiding the parking.


Please drive slowly while on site, the terrain is agricultural.



PARENTS & ATHLETES


Please arrive at the course from 9.30am onwards.


Access to the centre of the course is for anyone that is called for their race only.


Access is possible all around the course on foot.

Please listen to the volunteers for instructions throughout the event.


Respect everyone, respect the environment.
