IMPORTANT – information from Dublin County Athletics Board: As you know, officials and stewards all volunteer their time and without them we could not organise or run these competitions for your athletes and children. Last year we had a number of incidents where voluntary officials were abused so we urge you to please advise your fellow club members, coaches, parents/guardians and supporters of the points below. Adopt a positive attitude to their children’s participation Respect officials decisions and encourage children to do likewise Do not seek to unfairly affect a result Do not enter the competition area unless specifically invited to by an official in charge Never user foul language or provocative gestures to officials Do not question an official’s decisions or integrity Encourage children to respect and accept the judgment of officials Any Breach of the above may lead to your exclusion from future events Warm up track – for health and safety reasons access will be restricted to athletes called in advance and coaches with a wrist band. Any unauthorised athlete, parent and coach should not be offended when asked to leave the area. Athletes and spectators should use the designated seating areas. We will try to fill the fixed seating first and then the bleachers on the far side, starting at the furthest end first., so please obey the instructions of the voluntary stewards. Please note car parking is limited please try and organise carpooling.
