Laura Hurdles to Gold in Athlone!

Congratulations to Laura Gallagher who retained her title when winning the U.15 Girls 60m hurdles at the National Juvenile Indoor Championships in Athlone on Saturday, in a new PB of 9.27. Also reaching the final of the hurdles were Cian Dunne U.15 Boys 6th 9.82; Hannah Bondzio U.16 Girls 7th 9.87 PB; Liam Jenkins 7th U.16 Boys 9.18; Ciaran Carty U.17 7th 9.23. There were also some fine performances in the 200m from James Holden 4th 22.54 (U.19) PB; Seamus Fenton 4th (U.17) 23.41 (PB) and Ciaran Carthy 5th 23.42 (PB); Liam Fenton 5th (U.16) 23.95 (PB). Claudia Moran came 11th in Shot Putt with a throw of 8.47.
