<img src="http://goodcowebprojects.com/aspire/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Covid-1917May2020.png" alt="Covid-19 17 May 2020.png" /> Dear Member, The Club continues to examine the recently published strict guidelines from Athletics Ireland, our national governing body, details of which can be seen here: https://www.athleticsireland.ie/news/coronavirus-covid-19-update While the Club develops its set of protocols to align DSDAC to both Athletics Ireland and the Government’s “Roadmap for Reopening Society & Business”, we will update our members as soon as we have agreed our way forward as a Club to safely resume Club training. I can assure all members that our volunteers and coaches are examining all of these issues in detail at the moment and are hoping to publish our Phase 1 plan shortly. Therefore, DSDAC is NOT returning organised training until we have addressed all of the various issues involved . This message does not restrict members from privately continuing a healthy lifestyle. I would additionally note that use of Club changing rooms in Marlay Park is not permitted during this period. In line with HSE and our Government’s advice, the Board of the Club advises all households and individuals to comply with the guidelines to maintain social distancing of 2 metres, to wash your hands regularly and to adhere to the Governmental “Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business”. Regarding competitive fixtures for athletics for the remainder of 2020 the Club will take its direction from Athletics Ireland and its decisions around such fixtures. Yours in Athletics, Declan Ryan, Chairman DSDAC
