Dublin Juv. Even Age Cross Country Championships & National Juv. Inter Club & Mixed Relays

Dear Parents and Guardians Dublin Even Age XC Championships will be held on 15th October in Abbotstown for U10/U12/U14/U16/U18 athletes. Clubs can enter as many athletes as they like in each age group with the first 4 across the line counted for team results. Athletes may step up a year for Cross Country Championships with agreement from the Head Juvenile Coach and Age Group Coaches. National Qualification The first 10 athletes in the U12/U14/U16/U18 contests qualify to represent Dublin as the County Team and the first 12 qualify to represent Dublin as the Provincial Team. 3 teams also qualify in each of these age groups (panel of 6) U10 Championships is a Dublin ONLY competition. Entriesmust be submitted by 6pm Sunday 1st October Please submit your entry to dsdjuventries@gmail.com And remember to include ALL of the following information Athlete Name Date of Birth Gender AAI Number Volunteer Officials As with all events, it is a condition that all clubs provide officials. In order to ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required and your co-operation will be much appreciated. Please let us know if you are available and we aim to schedule volunteers on a rota basis throughout the day to share the load. Volunteer names must be submitted with entries Cross-Country Relays: Also being held that day are the National Juvenile Inter Club Relays ( U11/U13/U15 Age Groups) and National Juvenile Mixed Relays ( U12/U14 Age Groups). Athletes may participate in the Dublin Championships AND the National Relays however they can only compete in ONE Relay event. Please let us know if your athlete is interested in being considered and for which relay event by 6pm Sunday 1st October.
