CROSS COUNTRY 2025 Cross Country League 3 & Dublin U9 XC Championships Tymon Park, Tallaght Sunday, 16 th November, 2025 Please note DSD will be processing ALL DSD XC League & Championship entries for 2025 Congratulations to our DSD athletes who have taken part in the first and second of the Dublin XC Leagues at Newbridge House and Corkagh Park – it has been fantastic to see so many of our Juvenile athletes out competing on the day – for some it may have been their first XC race while others are well seasoned! The combined results for League 1 and League 2 can be found below. · Combined League 1 & League 2 Results We would now like to invite all of our athletes join us for the final XC League of the 2025 season - entries are now open for League 3 in Tymon Park on Sunday 16 th November from 11am. The Dublin U9 XC Championships will also be incorporated into League 3 – our U9 athletes will be able to score both League Points and also compete for Dublin Championships Medals for the first 12 athletes across the line with the first 3 Teams (with 4 athletes to count) with the lowest combined scores to be awarded 6 Team Medals. The U9s will be running 600m, the same distance as the U10s, and all U9 Athletes can enter this Combined Championship/League 3 contest. If you have already entered the U9 Dublin Championships you do not have to resubmit an entry – please see below the current list of entries. DSD U9 Dublin Championships Entries to date The XC Leagues are open to all registered members from U8 upwards and are a great introduction to a competition event in a relaxed fun setting starting off at a shorter distance in League 1 and progressively getting longer in Leagues 2 & 3. League Points System : Points are awarded to the Top 20 athletes on the day with all athletes who finish receiving bonus in each race. The Top 6 in each Age Group receive awards based on points accumulated across the course of the Leagues (trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and boxed medals for 4th, 5th, 6th). Ages Categories: U8 (born 2018 – U8’s can step up to U9 for XC competitions) U9 (born 2017 & 2018) U10 (born 2016) U11 (born 2015) U12 (born 2014) U13 (born 2013) U14 (born 2012) U15 (born 2011) U16 (born 2010) U17 (born 2009) U18 (born 2008) U19/U20 (born 2007 & 2006) All DSD XC entries will be co-ordinated and submitted online by DSD Officials Entries are currently now open for League 3 XC League 3 2025 Form - Google Forms Entries will close at 6pm Saturday 8th November. · 1st race at 11am (note times are approximate) Please note the change in order of races on the day · Check in and get your number at the DSD flag · Please be there at least an hour before your race to collect your number and warm up · Club Singlet must be worn (Please find the link to order below) Shop | DSD Athletics Club · Be prepared for all types of weather · Bring food and drink as delays can happen Volunteers/Officials Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events .
