Irish Milers Club, Belfast

Several D.S.D., athletes travelled to the IMC Meet at the Mary Peters Track, Belfast, and registered all round good performances. Mollie O’Reilly finished 1st in the 400m with a time of 55.10, which fulfills the criteria for European U.20 Championship selection. Mark Kavanagh also ran well finishing 2nd in the 100m 11.01. Knocking a huge six seconds of her P.B., Meghan Ryan finished 4th 1500m 4.32.68 and Fiona Clinton 5th 4.34.86 also looked impressive. Aengus Meldon was set for a fast 800m result but faded slightly over the final 100m to place 5th in 1.53.64. A good time of 8.31.19 for Robert Corbally in the 3,000m gave him a 6th place finish. James Holden recorded a time of 49.68 when finishing 7th in the 400m.
