Juvenile C.C. League 3

Well done to all those, who turned out, in Tymon Park for League 3. Thanks to Brien O’Donohoe for following report: We had 33 runners in Tymon Park with a couple of wins but it was our U10 Girls that was the highlight with 3 of them in the first 10 and we also had a few first time runners as well. Results; U9 Girls A great first time run for Roisin Hickey in 12th followed by Becky Isaac, Charlotte Costello ,Aoife McGettigan and Cara Johnson all finishing well up the field. Well done girls. U9 Boys Adam O’Mahony finished strongly to finish in the top 10 followed home by Ewan McClafferty and Fionn Hasset inside the top 20 so well done all. U10 Girls Aisling Power led the girls home in 4th, with Anna Kelleher just behind in 6th and Aoife Long in 9th and followed home by good runs from Derbhla Hassett, Daisy Coleman and Leonora Perry. This was a very good team performance and the girls can look forward to the track season with confidence. U10 Boys Luke Gavin put in an excellent run to finish in the top 10 and was followed home by Conn McCloskey, Oran O’Sullivan , Dylan Costello and Leo Owens. Well done all. U11 Boys – well done to Fionn Perry on his first run and Harry Owens also having his first league run of the season. U12 Girls – Emily Costello and Sadbh Hassett both put in excellent top 20 performances in a big field and were followed home by Eabha Durbridge and Maja McGettigan. Well done girls, U13 Boys – well done to James Hickey with a good first run in cross country. U13 Girls – well done to Rose Owens. U 15 Girls – Isabella led from the start and went on to win in fine style. U15 Boys – Jamie Byrne , feeling very much under the weather, just lost out to finish second after a sprint finish and looked very good for the up coming All Irelands in 2 weeks. Andrew McGilton ran his strongest race to date with an excellent 3rd place finish and Tristan ran his usual strong race to finish fourth . Well done lads in a very commanding DSD performance. U 16 Girls – Well done to Ciara Kelly who finished very strongly and take 1st place for DSD. U16 Boys – Jevae St Lewis kept the good run of results going for DSd and finished 2nd.
