Medals for Masters in Athlone

Peadar McGing left Athlone yesterday laden down with medals, won at the National Masters Indoor T & F Championships (M60). He finished 1st in the 200m (28.37); 400m (65.53); High Jump (1.40); Long Jump (4.18) and 2nd 60m (8.45). Shane Sheridan was the winner of the M60 60m (8.15). Avril Dillon impressed in the W.35 60m (8.23) and 60mH (9.71) finishing 1st in both. Sheelagh Jones won silver in W.60 800m (2.54) and 1500m (6.02.73) Kevin Byrne 4th M.45 High Jump 1.55; David Connolly 4th M35 200m (26.59); Ronan Gately 5th M50 200m (26.99); 4th Long Jump (4.44) and 2nd High Jump (1.45). Vigetta Moran 6th W.45 Shot 6.57. Well done to all!
