Molly blooms on new track!

The Irish Universities (IUAA) held their Track & Field Championships on the D.S.D., brand new track, at the weekend. Despite the bad weather there were some excellent performances. Amongst those was that of our own Molly Hourihan, representing UCD, who won the women’s 200m in a time of 24.62. Cara Murphy (UCD) also put in a superb performance in the 400m hurdles, finishing in first place, with a big PB of 62.90. In the men’s 400m Ciarán Carthy (DCU) also showed his class in a new PB of 47.34, to finish 2nd. Another to register a PB was Eimear Maher (UCD) 2nd in the 3,000m, with a time of 9.47.92.
