Síofra Smashes Irish 800m Indoor Record!

After a great win for Georgie Hartigan yesterday over 800m, in Abbotstown, with a great new PB of 2.01.48, Síofra Cleirigh Buttner came on track last night at the World Indoor Meet in Arkansas and smashed the Irish Indoor record with a sizzling time of 2.00.58. This was a fabulous run for Siófra, who last week ran a blistering 1500m PB of 4.09.67 (2nd All-Time 1500m Indoor List). Also competing in Abbotstown yesterday Kate Doherty set a new 60m sprint PB of 7.49, finishing 3rd, and Hiko Tonosa ran a PB in the 3,000m 7.53.79 in 4th place.
