U9, U10 & U11 Team Championships – Saturday 02/06/18 Irishtown

Please be in Irishtown at 9am to allow check-in with Vigetta and me. The stadium will not be open till closer to the start time, but we will warm-up in the park beside the stadium. Click here for list of the Teams (pairs) which will show your child’s partner for each event. Some will have the same partner for both events, others will have different partners for their paired events. Where there are more than one team in an age group, these are differentiated by Team A or B etc., this is simply a team name and nothing to do with the strength of one team over the other! Also; here is a list of the relay teams, running order and subs will be decided by the coach on the day. Please note relay teams are made up of 4 runners plus up to 2 subs. Where your child is named as part of a relay squad and there are more than 4 runners, there is a chance your child could be a sub for that team. Please do not take offence to this decision, as coaches we would prefer to give all athletes a chance to compete in a relay team, but unfortunately we don’t have the numbers to make up more than one team. Once your child’s events (2 paired events and relay – where named) are over you are free to leave, but probably best to check with myself before leaving. Please prepare for all types of weather, bring food/water, club singlets must be worn (I will have singlets for sale – price €20). If wearing running spikes, please ensure they are fitted with 5mm spikes. Volunteers: Thank you to all who volunteered to officiate tomorrow, here is a list of the volunteers which has been passed to the Dublin Board. On arrival tomorrow you will need to check-in with the officials they will assign you to your post. We put forward your preferences, however, we have no control over the assignment of officials.
