Well, the weather gods have been good to us on site allowing the contractor to complete the excavation of the track. Some 36,000 cubic metres of material have been moved to provide the base for the track installation and over the last weekend the contractor started to put down the initial layer of stone.
Once the stone is in place, we have the base to start installing the retaining walls that surround the track and then get going on the drainage.
Elsewhere (the entrance and car park areas) the drainage works are well on their way, and the ESB diversion works are about to start (re-routing a 38Kv line under the whole site).
