Cross Country League 1

Newbridge House, Donabate

Sunday, 13^th September, 2026

To kick off the season for 2026, the first of three Dublin Cross Country Leagues will take place at Newbridge House, Donabate on Sunday, 13th September 2026 from 11am.

We would like to invite all of our athletes to take part in the League & Championship events over the course of the 2026 Season.

The XC Leagues are open to all registered members from U9 upwards and are a great introduction to a competition event in a relaxed fun setting starting off at a shorter distance in League 1 and progressively getting longer in Leagues 2 & 3.

League Points System:

Points are awarded to the Top 20 athletes on the day with all athletes who finish receiving bonus points in each race. The Top 6 in each Age Group receive awards based on points accumulated across the course of the Leagues (trophies for 1^st, 2^nd, 3rd and boxed medals for 4^th, 5^th,6^th).

Age Categories:

· U8 (born 2019 – U8’s can step up to U9 for XC competitions)

· U9 (born 2018 & 2019)

· U10 (born 2017)

· U11 (born 2016)

· U12 (born 2015)

· U13 (born 2014)

· U14 (born 2013)

· U15 (born 2012)

· U16 (born 2011)

· U17 (born 2010)

· U18 (born 2009)

· U19/U20 (born 2008 & 2007)

All XC Leagues entries will be co-ordinated and submitted online by DSD Officials

Entries are currently open for League 1 – please click here to submit League 1 entry

Entries will close at Thursday 3^rd September at 9pm.

· 1st race at 11am (note times are approximate)

· Check in and get your number at the DSD flag

· Please be there at least an hour before you race to collect your number and warm up

· Club Singlet must be worn (Please find the link to order below)

Volunteers/Officials

Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events. In order to ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required and your co-operation will be much appreciated. Please let us know if you are available via the League 1 online entry form.
