Laura Shaughnessy led home a top class field of athletes at the Rathfarnham 5k Road Race. This was a major breakthrough for Laura, who was always up with the leaders and finished ahead of Siobhan O’Doherty Borrisokane AC and Caroline Crowley Crusaders AC.
Meanwhile on Saturday Fiona Clinton won he Simon 5 mile Race and was followed closely by Meghan Ryan, as the D.S.D athletes dominated from the gun.
