DUBLIN JUVENILE EVEN AGE & NOVICE XC CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026
Dear parents,
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we have had a particularly busy week gathering entries for both XC League 2 and the National XC Relays and gathering information for the Evens Championships on Sunday – not to mention keeping up with our day jobs as well!
Dublin Juvenile Even Age Cross Country Championships
Phoenix Park
Sunday 4th October 2026
The first of the Dublin Juvenile Cross Country Championships will take place at the Phoenix Park this Sunday 4th October 2026.
All athletes competing have been pre-registered entry - look out for the DSD Flag and check in with a DSD Official to collect your race number.
· 1st Race Dublin Championships at 11.00am (note times are approximate)
· Check in and get your number from the DSD Official at the DSD flag
· Please be there at least 75 mins your race to allow number collection and warm up
· Club Singlet must be worn
· Be prepared for all types of weather
· Bring food and drink as delays can happen

As you can appreciate - it takes a lot of effort from all clubs to host an athletics event. A sincere thank you to the DSD parents and to the volunteers from the Dublin Athletics Board who have given up their time to help on the day, your generosity is very much appreciated.
NOTE:
Coaches will be on hand to warm-up athletes and will also walk the course before race start time – please note the time that your coach has advised to arrive. It is important that you be on-time as Coaches are unable to wait to start warm-up and walk the course.
Please note that once racing has commenced, we will not be able to walk the course, therefore it is important that you arrive promptly.
Parking
Parking is available at the Papal Cross which is less than 10 min walk from the course which is close to the Magazine Fort.
Parking on the roadway between the Chapelizod Gate and the Papal Cross is prohibited.
Please park in designated parking areas only.
Volunteers/Officials
Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events and we would like to thank those who have put their name forward to volunteer on the day - further information to follow directly to those who will be assisting on the day.
We would also like to thank our coaches who have prepared their athletes so well and will be attending on the day for what promises to be a fantastic start to the Dublin Juvenile XC Championships!
