PARKING
One of the young car park stewards was abused by several parents at our last event in Morton. This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and may lead to an athlete being excluded from the competition.
Please note Main Car Park in Santry is for named OFFICIALS only.
There are limited car park spaces in the car park at the Clonliffe club entrance. Please DO NOT park in the sectioned off area reserved for Clonliffe club members.
Car parking is available in the wider area around. Please DO NOT impede local residents or park on cycle lanes or footpaths in the vicinity of the stadium.
VOLUNTEERS
Thank you to our parents who have put their names forward to volunteer on Day 1 of the Championships – it is most appreciated!
On this occasion I have endeavoured to match volunteer slots with the time that your athlete will be in attendance while also taking into consideration any specific requests where possible – as I am sure you can imagine – this is not a small undertaking.
The day has been split into a morning and afternoon session - please ensure that you arrive as requested and stay for the duration of your session.
Please aim to arrive a little earlier than scheduled and check in with Seamus who will be coordinating volunteers on the day.
Don’t worry if this is your first time volunteering – there will always be an expert on hand to provide guidance for each event!
We would also like to thank our fantastic Coaches who have prepared their athletes so well and will be attending on the day – your commitment and dedication is most appreciated and we look forward to kicking off the Dublin Juvenile T&F Championships for 2025!
We ask that you are respectful of all Officials and Volunteers on the day.
Please don’t hesitate to make contact if you have any questions.
Wishing our athletes the very best of luck!
Yours in Sport
Sharon Wilson
Director of Athletics Operations
