✨ Louise breaks 14 year old club record, Robbie breaks 4 PB’ and Peadar gets National Record and Kristi wins gold at Scottish CE Champs✨

Well done to our 4 combined athletes who competed last weekend at the Scottish Combined events Championships.

Louise King broke a long-standing record of one of our master athletes((Grainne Moggan) of 3244 to better the record by to 3283 !  To do this Louise achieved PB’s in Long Jump and 800m.

🥇Our youngest CE Robbie Tallon competed in the Scottish U20 CE and came away with gold and 5 PB’s in Pole Vault( massive increase from 3:05 to 3:31!), Long jump 5.28m, 60m - 8.02, HJ 5cm PB to 1.55 and 1,000m PB - 2866 total 

🥇Kristi Kurg 0’Connor won the Women’s W45 Pentathlon - first as a master athlete - with a great opener in the Shot Putt of 9.29. - 2108 total. 

🥇Finally kept the best till last, Peadar McGing won the M70 Pentathlon with a National  Record in the Pole Vault - 3434. Peadar never ceases to amaze with his performances over two gruelling days. 

Finally many thanks to coach Lucy a Moore for bringing the team over to the championships - as always we couldn’t do it without all our volunteer coaches in DSD.
