Runners want to run, and when they want to improve they usually need to increase distance and, for the most part, speed. All of this inevitably puts additional pressure on the body which will break down if it is not managed with key exercises and then the plan for improvement gets ... messed up!
Matt, a physio who founded The Performance Team in the UK, talked through some DIY gait analysis techniques, ways to spot potential injury issues and a host of different exercises to prevent injuries, and then address them when they do occur.
