It is an exciting time for DSD! While our members and athletes are busy just staying fit or performing on the international stage, we have been busy preparing our plans that will pave the way for a top class Sports Campus on our St Thomas estate.
Working with a number of minority sports clubs, DSD has prepared an ambitious submission to Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to enter a partnership that will see an international standard multisport campus being developed on the lands of St Thomas. This will be of huge benefit to DSD members, for our partner clubs, and for the community of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown as a whole. DSD will at last have its home where all its members can pursue their interests, be it running on an 8 lane tartan track, to throwing a javelin, to getting over the bar in the high jump.
