đšâđđ©âđ18 (yes, 18) of our coaches completed the assistant coach course last Saturday on the campus and in sunshine.Â
đ đ¶ââïžđ„Ciara Wilson Bowen was a barely noticed 2nd in the English indoor champs 3,000m walk.
đđđ„Our T&F field teams lie second in both menâs and womenâs in the national indoor champs after Sundayâs round.  Highlight for me was the 4x200m w relay team which included a 15-year-old (Evelyn (very) Kwik) and a 50-year-old (must be discreet). They won their heat.
đđđȘđș And a European W50 record for Adina Gheorghiu in the 60m. (I see three DSD women in the top 10 rankings over 60m this season so far.)
đđđââïžđââïžââĄïžđđŒââĄïžđââïžThe East and West Leinster schools xc champs included lots or our lads and lassies during the week.
âïžÂ The campus survived storm Eowyn with little damage.đȘđș A strong team was picked for the European Champion Clubs Cross Country on 2nd Feb: Amy Donohue, Eimear Maher, Jamie Byrne and Joe Hastings will wear the famous silver vests in Portugal. đ”đč Rob Corbally and Donal Hennigan will carry the tracksuits.đșđžÂ Iâm looking forward to Elizabeth Ndudi (LJ)
đ€žđ»ââïžgoing again this weekend in Illinois and Hiko running the Seville Half Marathon. đȘđžÂ Hiko has the B standard in the marathon for the world champs in Tokyo and is preparing for the Rotterdam marathon. And equally exciting, we have a first aid
âïžÂ course for coaches this Saturday on the campus.
