DSD seeks applications for the position of part time administrator.
The position:
20 hours per week (flexible) based on working from home with visits to DSD Campus when the position demands.
The role:
The work will involve offering professional support to the voluntary officers of the club including:
Looking after the ongoing administration and management of the Club
Managing membership including:
• Dealing with new membership inquiries;
• Onboarding of new members;
• Managing waiting lists;
• Membership and Administration Systems;
• Managing the processing of membership applications and renewals, including the registration of members with Athletics Ireland
Organising the club’s annual summer camp activities including marketing, enrolment, finances and payroll.
Supporting the club’s commercial activities on Campus including marketing, handling enquires, venue hire, invoicing and collection.
Supporting the Club’s use of the Campus including operating a booking system.
Managing the marketing, ordering and sale of club gear
Managing finances related to the above;.
Other duties as assigned by the chairman of DSD
The successful applicant will have
A minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably within a membership-based environment
Love of DSD and athletics…
Ability to work with and support volunteer board.
Computer literacy and proficiency.
A clear understanding of and familiarity with athletics and athletic competitions.
Experience in customer-facing role preferred with proven ability to network effectively, work well as part of a team and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Event and project management experience essential along with a good understanding of financial management and budgeting.
Experience in a retail or sales role preferred but not essential.

Salary - Commensurate with skills and experience.
