D.S.D Endurance Juggernaut wins again in Enfield!

Following on from a strong showing at the recent National 5K championships at the weekend, the Endurance juggernaut rolled into Enfield last night and won the Peugeot Team Competition, winning the Women’s team event and placed 3rd in the Men’s team event.  

There were some strong runs with a number of PB’s achieved.

The DSD Women’s notched up a good team win with the top athletes 5 coming in under the much sought after 18 mins barrier:

Ruby Wall 5th in 17.11, Serena Tuffy 8th in 17.31, Saoirse O’Brien 9th in 17.37, Emily Witham 10th in 17.43, Lisa Gaughran 15th in 17.56. Ruth Wilson 17th in 18.10, Emma Goddard 23rd in 18.30

The Men’s team finished a commendable 3rd place with some strong grouping:

Barry McEvoy 19th in 15.18, David Gormley 22nd in 15.25, Aengus Meldon 25th in 15.29, Philip Simpson 27th in 15.34, Gavin Callery 54th in 16.14, Adriele Prina Mello 175th in 18.03

The Peugeot Team Competition was won with the combined score of the first three Women and three Men.

The DSD Performance showed the versatility and depth of the endurance squad with a great blend of the Senior endurance group and the MTR Squad.
