Congratulations to all our athletes who participated in the Dublin U9/U10/U11 Team Championships and Day 1 of the Dublin Juvenile T&F Championships over the weekend in Tallaght – there was plenty of sunshine and smiles - along with a selection of medals, PBs and National Qualifications!
Thank you also to our parents for their generosity in volunteering over the weekend and our coaches that prepared all our athletes so well for the Competition!
We are currently taking entries for Days 2, 3, 4 & 5 of the Dublin Juvenile T&F Championships.

The Dublin Juvenile T&F Championships will be held over the following dates.

Relays Wednesday 14th June (Even Age Relays) Lucan
Relays Friday 16th June (Uneven Age Relays) Lucan
Day 5 Saturday 17th June (U10-U15) Tallaght
Notes:
* Including Pole Vault & Walks for all relevant age groups.
Coaches will be contact with athletes regarding the relay selection.
Even Age = U12, U14, U16 & U18.
Uneven Age = U13, U15, U17 & U19.

Entries
All athletes must be currently registered with DSDAC for 2023 to enter.
Juvenile competition entry fees are included in your Club subscription. However, we would like to remind members that entry fees are per event, so please ensure you are available to compete in all events that are entered.

Vests
DSD vest must be worn by all athletes when competing. We are currently waiting for an update from our supplier regarding expected delivery date when vests will be available to order using the link below Shop | DSD Athletics Club (dsdac.com)
National Qualification
Individual Events – first 4 athletes qualify for Nationals except in 600m where 3 qualify.
Relays – 3 Teams in each Age Group qualify for Nationals.
U12/U13/U14/U15/U16 – limited to 3 events plus relays at Nationals
U17/U18/U19 – limited to 4 events plus relays at Nationals
Volunteer Officials
As with all events, it is a condition that all clubs provide officials in order to ensure their athletes are permitted to compete. To ensure that our coaches can concentrate on their athletes we look to parents to help when required and your co-operation will be much appreciated. Please let us know when you are available, and we aim to schedule volunteers on a rota basis throughout the day to share the load.
