Double Gold for Sienna!

We had a great turnout of young athletes in action in Santry on Saturday for Day 1 of the Dublin Juvenile Track and Field Championships.  

Sienna Jones U.12 , recorded a Dublin record in the 600m, of 1.44.11, also winning the High Jump with a leap of 1.34.   

 Impressing with 1st place finishes: Daniel Conway U.18 400m hurdles and Alannah Giles U.18 800m.   Our Field Event athletes continue to improve with gold going to Neasa O’Keeffe, Becky Isaac and Mia Trundle Shot Putt and 1st and 2nd for our U.16 Javelin Throwers Oisin O’Haimhirgin and Marty Davitt.   Silver medal winners who showed huge improvement were Conor Pimlott U.16 800m, knocking almost 8 seconds off his P.B., and Dylan McCambridge Crossan U.15 800m.
