A huge number of juvenile athletes descended on the National Indoor Arena, Abbotstown on Friday night for the Even Age Dublin Relay Championships. D.S.D., U.18 Girls and U.16 Girls impressed with great front running and duly came home with the gold medals and qualification to the National Championships in Athlone in March. As well as winning the U.16 Girls our second team in this age group finished 3rd to claim the bronze medals. Our U.14 Girls finished 3rd, and U.16 boys 2nd. With three of our U.18 Boys unavailable, we had to call on our subs, with two of them being from the U.17 boys, who put up great performances, but unfortunately they just missed the medals finishing in 4th place.
