DUBLIN U9 XC CHAMPIONSHIPS & XC LEAGUE 3 2025

Dublin Juvenile XC League 3

&

Dublin U9 XC Championships

Tymon Park

Sunday, 18th January, 2026

We are very much looking forward to the final fixture of the 2025 XC Season! The much anticipated and multiple times rescheduled Dublin U9 XC Championships and XC League 3 will finally take place at Tymon Park this coming Sunday, 18th January, 2026.

The XC Leagues are open to all registered members from U8 upwards and are a great introduction to a competition event in a relaxed fun setting.

For this day only our athletes will revert to their 2025 Age Groups – due to the series of unfortunate cancellations we were faced with during the 2025 Season - and we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding throughout.

Entries have been combined from those who initially submitted online with additional entries gathered for the 2 rescheduled events – culminating in around 150 athletes ready to compete on Sunday!

Had everyone been available to compete this weekend we would have had close to 200 athletes – and we will miss those athletes who now can’t make it on Sunday!

Please follow the instructions listed below and meet at the DSD Flag/Tent to Check In with the DSD Official:

·        1st race at 11am (note times are approximate).

Please note the change in order of races on the day

·        Please bring your number from Leagues 1 & 2 – this is a 4 digit number starting with 4 – not the Championship numbers from the Evens or Unevens.

·        Be there at least an hour before you race to allow registration and warm up.

·        Check In and get your number at the DSD flag.

·        Club Singlet must be worn (Please find the link to order below)

·        Be prepared for all types of weather.

·        Bring food and drink as delays can happen.

Volunteers

Clubs are required to provide volunteers at all events – and we would like to thank those who put their name forward to volunteer on the day.

Unfortunately – as some of our athletes are unavailable to compete with the rescheduled date – we have also lost some of our volunteers. But we hope that some of the parents from our additional entries may put themselves forward to assist.

If you could let me know if you are available to help please ASAP – I look forward to hearing from you!

Parking:

Parking can be found in official Tymon Park Car Parks on either side of the M50 – please see accompanying directions to the course.

There is NO PARKING permitted at the Basketball Arena or in Tallaght Community School.

Please DO NOT park on Tymon Lane – the avenue leading up to the National Basketball Arena - or on the outer roads.

We would also like to thank our coaches who have prepared their athletes so well and will be attending on the day for what promises to be a record start to the Cross Country Season!

Many thanks to Rathfarnham WSAF Athletics Club for hosting the event!

Wishing all DSD athletes the very best of luck!
