At the National Indoor League, Round 2, at Athlone, Eimear Maher impressed in the Women’s 1500m, finishing 1st, registering a time of 4.27.13.
Also striding out to a great win in the Women’s 1500m walk was Ciara Wilson Bowen, in a time of 7.10.18.
Lauryn Healy used the opportunity for some indoor jumping and finished 3rd with a leap of 1.50, in the Women's High Jump.
Charlotte Bourke also put in a great performance in the 400m, with a time of 57.36, 2nd in Heat, and 3rd overall. Rachel Lynch ran a good 400m with a 2nd place in Guest race, in 59.26.
Rachel Dunne 5th 60mH 9.99; Andrew Hayes 1st Heat 3, 200m 24.17, Aobh Forde 4th Heat 1 60m 8.00; Emma Roche 2nd Heat 2 200m 28.58 and 5th Shot Putt 8.69, also performed very well.
Our 4x200m relay team of Adina Gheorghiu; Aobh Forde; Rachel Dunne and Aisling Cunningham were 2nd in Heat 4 and 4th overall.
