Evelyn Kwik (Wesley) was the stand out junior in Tullamore on Saturday, at the Leinster Schools Track & Field Championships, winning the 100m 12.54 and 200m 25.81. Lauryn Healy (Loreto,Foxrock) was also a winner, in the Junior Girls High Jump 1.55.
In the Senior Boys we had several high class performances with David Bosch (Wesley) winning the 400m 48.33; Robert Hayes (Oatlands) 1st 400mH 57.84; Eoghan MacMuiris (Gonzaga) 2nd 58.11 and Jamie Byrne (Wesley) 2nd 1500m 4.26.04.
Ciara Wilson Bowen (ETSS) 1st 3,000mW Senior Girls 15.57.10; Molly Mullally (O.L. Templeogue) 2nd T.Jump 10.99 and 2nd L.Jump 5.19.
Sophia Johansson (Alexander) 1st Junion Girls 75mH 12.70.
In the Inter Boys Laurence Gevero (Oatlands) 2nd 100m 11.38; Sean Healy (Benildus) 4th 400m 52.99; Andrew Hayes (Oatlands) 4th Inter 400mH 60.17.
Rachel Lynch (Muckross) 3rd Inter Girls 300mH.
