Jumpers reach for the Sky!

Congratulations to our D.S.D. High Jumpers, who took gold at the Irish Schools Championships in Tullamore, at the weekend, representing their schools.   Lauryn Healy, Loreto Foxrock, continued on her winning way, taking 1st place in the Inter Girls H.J., with a leap of 1.63.  Conn McCluskey, St. Benildus College, also had a first place finish, in the Junior Boys H.J.,  jumping 1.70. 

Daniel Conway, Oatlands College, finished 3rd in the Senior Boys 110m hurdles with a big new PB of 14.83.

Harry O’Meara, Gaelcholáiste an Phiarsigh, Rathfarnham,  had a 6th place finish in the Minor Boys 800m, and Adone Zewdie, Mount Anville, also finished in 6th position in the Inter Girls Discus with a throw of 26.53.
