Masters on the mark again!

DSDAC Masters at the Leinsters

Nine DSD Master Athletes competed in Leinsters Indoors on Saturday in Athlone.


They took home a medal haul of 19 medals - 13 Gold, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze.


Special mention to Shane Sheridan (M60) who won Triple Sprint Gold in 60m, 200m and 400m, and Peadar McGing (M65)for his triple win 400m; 800m and Weight for Distance.



Shane: second to none this weekend!

Also to the following double Gold medallists:


George Wyatt (M50) - Long-Jump and Triple-Jump

Kevin Byrne - 60m Hurdles and Pole Vault and 2nd in High-Jump.

Lucy Moore - Shot-Put and Weight for Distance.


Avril Dillon (W40) - ran in the Senior Women's sprints - coming 3rd in 60m in 7.89 secs and qualifying for Final in 200m in 26.69.
