Competition Schedule

How do the Teams work?
All individual track events will be decided on time.
Jumps/Throws will be decided on the longest of 3 attempts.
The results system will calculate the best combined times/distances for Team Scoring with medals for the first 3 Teams in each event.
The top 3 teams overall in the competition, from all clubs entered in each event go through to Nationals.
A relay team is made up of 4 athletes and are selected by Coaches. Coaches will try to field as many teams as possible, however, this is dependent on the number of athletes available.
Notes:
• Please chose 2 individual entries
• Advise if you would like to be considered for a Relay Team
• Club singlets must be worn (singlets will NOT be on sale on the day)
Volunteer Officials – (NO experience required!)
As with all events it is a condition of the Dublin Athletics Board Juvenile Competition Committee that all Clubs provide officials – without volunteers and officials - these competitions cannot take place.
To ensure our coaches can prepare and assist their athletes we look to parents to help when required and aim to schedule volunteers on a rota basis throughout the day to share the load.
Please let us know when you are available - there is no prior experience required – it is a great way to learn more about the different events and give back to the athletics community.
As always we endeavour to minimise time officiating by spreading the work among many.
It is always a great fun day of competition for our younger juveniles, so we would encourage as many as possible to come and take part.
Any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
Yours in sport,
Sharon Wilson
Director of Athletics Operations
