Our coaches Toni, Mark, Jean and John have been busy organising athletes for the upcoming Teams Competition – it is always a fun day of competition for our younger juveniles and it is great to see so many athletes putting their names forward to take part.
For some it will be their first taste of competition and competing together as part of a team is a great introduction to this. We hope everyone is looking forward to and enjoys themselves on the day.
We have 186 Athlete Entries and 17 Relay Teams on the day – so as you can imagine this takes a considerable amount of organisation to coordinate!
A reminder that the Relays are a Team event – with 4 athletes making up each team – if a child is unavailable, it will impact the other children on that team.
LOCATION
Venue Location: Tallaght Athletics Club Track, Bancroft Park,

VOLUNTEERS
Thank you to all the parents who volunteered for the Teams Championships - your generosity has made it easier to provide names to the Dublin Juvenile Competition Committee and is most appreciated.
I've endeavoured to match volunteer slots with the times your athlete will be in attendance and considering specific requests where possible – I’m sure you can imagine this has not been a small undertaking.
The day is split into morning and afternoon sessions – please ensure you arrive as requested and stay for the duration of your session. Check in with Seamus, who will coordinate volunteers on the day.
Don't worry if it's your first time volunteering; there will always be an expert on hand to provide guidance for each event. We may need additional volunteers during the day, so please let me know if you're available when you arrive.
We would also like to thank our fantastic Coaches who have prepared their athletes so well and will be attending on the day – your commitment and dedication is most appreciated and we look forward to all the fun of the Teams Championships!
PARKING
We encourage carpooling as parking is limited – car park spaces are available in:
TAC Car Park
St Marys Primary School yard (to the right of the entrance to TAC)
TUI College Grounds (directly across from TAC). Closes at 4pm
Additional Car Parking can be found in nearby industrial estates to the left and right off Greenhills Road, which are only a short walk from the venue.
Please DO NOT park at the Astro Pitches
Note that Gardai have advised that cars parked illegally on cycle and foot paths will be fined.
Please be advised, the timetable is subject to change without notice, events could be earlier or later than the scheduled time.
Please remember that all officials are volunteers and to respect their requests and direction during the Championships.

Wishing all of our athletes the very best of luck!
